In short

The essentials in four sentences

  • Only those who have lived or live in a building and can prove it may review it.
  • Buildings, not people: no names, no insults, no unproven accusations.
  • Your texts remain yours; we show them only on Home-Voice and never pass them on.
  • Money never changes a value, an order or a deletion.

What this is about

Home-Voice collects tenants' experiences of buildings in Switzerland and shows them in aggregated form. The provider is Home-Voice (see legal notice). These terms apply to everyone who uses Home-Voice; for management companies, section 8 also applies.

Account

You can open an account from the age of 18. One person, one account. Sign-in is only by link to your email address; keep access to your mailbox secure. You can delete your account at any time.

Reviewing

You can only review from your own experience of your own tenancy, current or past, backed by proof. There is one review per tenancy. Anyone with an interest in the building may not review it: the owners, the management company or anyone acting for them, and anyone with a right to reply for that building. There is no reward for reviews – neither offering nor accepting one.

What is allowed

The rules on the “Rules” page apply. In short: buildings, not people; no names or identifiable details about other people; no insults, threats or unproven accusations of crimes. Opinions are allowed; sensitive facts need evidence. You vouch for the accuracy of your statements.

Review, reports, appeals

We review content before publication and when it is reported. We remove inadmissible passages but never rewrite. Every decision names the rule. You can appeal a decision in your account within 30 days. In case of repeated or serious violations we can block an account from new contributions; your rights to your data remain.

Rights to your content

Your texts and photos remain yours. You allow Home-Voice to display them on Home-Voice and to aggregate them into values – free of charge, as long as they are published. We do not pass them on, do not sell them and do not use them to train third-party AI. If you withdraw content or delete your account, this permission ends.

Values, tools, guide

Values are patterns from experiences, not a guarantee about a building. Tools, letters and the guide are guidance, not legal advice; Home-Voice sends nothing and does not monitor deadlines. Home-Voice does not mediate between tenants and management companies.

Management companies

A management company can prove its claim to a building and then reply to comments free of charge. Replies are reviewed before publication; they name no people and no flats. A claim excludes reviewing that building. Payment never changes values, order, deletion or the right to reply. Paid offers have their own terms.

What is not allowed

Not allowed: reading content automatically (scraping), reusing content outside Home-Voice, training AI with Home-Voice content, circumventing protective measures, submitting false proofs and running several accounts.

Availability and liability

We run Home-Voice carefully but cannot promise that it is always available and error-free. We are liable by law for intent and gross negligence; we are not liable for slight negligence to the extent permitted by law. Users are responsible for their own content.

Changes

We announce significant changes in your account at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

Law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Biel/Bienne; mandatory places of jurisdiction, for example for consumers or in cases of personality rights violations, remain reserved. The German version is authoritative.
